Come and participate in CU's largest day of service with the Volunteer Resource Center as we host our annual Better Boulder Day of Service. Students, Faculty and Staff are invited to spend the day working with various organizations to complete a service project in the Boulder/Denver area. Last year over 300 students and groups signed up to participate! Service projects are all different and focus around various social and environmental justice issues that are occurring in our communities. In the past we have participated in projects ranging from trail restoration, organization of donation centers, building projects, and landscaping. This one day service project is an easy way to learn more about the amazing people and organizations in the community who are working to combat social and environmental issues.
For Project Leads:
It is thanks to our Project Leads that we can make this event possible! Being a Project Lead is a great way to gain experience in leadership, project management, event planning, and communication with non-profits. This year we will be changing the responsibilities involved with being a Project Lead, we will be hosting three info sessions to cover the details and to answer any questions, see below for dates of upcoming info sessions.
Applications are now closed, check back soon to sign up to volunteer!
