- A shared governance group, the Boulder Faculty Assembly is a body designed to allow the academy to collaborate in major decisions affecting the welfare of CU Boulder.
- Staff Council was created and established to ensure all staff members can be actively involved in setting the priorities and future direction of the university while respecting our vast differences and perspectives.
- It was a day of advancing women in academics as attendees took part in the CU Faculty Council’s 17th Women Succeeding Symposium, this year on the CU Boulder’s campus.
- At the inaugural meeting of the university’s new wildlife club, students met to develop ideas around fostering respect and on-the-ground solutions for coexisting with local flora and fauna.

- Through a new offering at The Rec, groups work together to build greater cohesion and increase productivity while exploring new techniques for effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Colorado’s innovation ecosystem was represented in full force at the state’s first-ever Destination Startup showcase on Feb. 1. The event included out-of-state and local investors.
- The event will cover the topics of social justice, LGBTQ, race and ethnicity, health and wellness and careers in sports and recreation through a variety of presentations and panels.
