- Volunteering, in addition to giving back to the community, exposes students to new perspectives and helps them develop new skills and interests outside of what they study.

- Are you thinking about getting a little more involved in your on-campus community but aren’t sure where to start? How about joining your hall council?
- The Office of International Education (OIE) is seeking applications for its Global Citizen Awards, which honor and recognize outstanding contributions to international understanding by members of the CU Boulder community.
- You’ve seen “The Amazing Race,” now you have a chance to compete in CU’s Amazing Race. Grab a friend to compete in physical and mental challenges on and around the CU Boulder campus. The winning team gets $1,000, half of which goes to a student group on campus.
- While on a Study Abroad trip to the Dominican Republic last spring, sophomore Britney Wilson experienced a number of life-changing “firsts.” These new experiences have impacted how she now views herself and the world.
- One Tuesday each month, Dining Services on campus teams up with the Residence Hall Association to hold a themed gathering during dinner at the Center for Community Dining Center.
- A new lounge opening this week at the University Memorial Center will provide students with a place to collaborate, study, socialize or just relax.
- Well, fellow buffaloes, our school year is officially underway. We are a few weeks into school now, we beat the CSU Rams, and the first round of midterms are fast approaching. Organizations on and off campus are also hard at work and still have positions open and available. CU Student Government is one of those organizations and we are looking for passionate, hardworking and fun-loving students who want to be involved on campus.
