- CU Boulder and visiting faculty are invited to apply for grants to teach courses during Summer Session. The deadline for submittals is Nov. 3.
- Disability Services is seeking nominations of students, faculty and staff who have supported the office and its students, as well as fostered outreach and involvement in the disability community.
- The Environmental Health and Safety Center, room 220, is serving as the on-campus voter service and polling center for the current election and is open until 6 p.m., Nov. 6, and 7 p.m., Nov. 7. There also is a 24-hour dropbox near the UMC.
- Staff and faculty can receive discounted $25 tickets to the Homecoming football game Saturday along with free concessions.
- Instructors can now explore what Canvas has to offer, access tutorials and begin developing spring 2018 courses in the new system.
- Christine Reilly, a senior aerospace engineering major, has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, to be presented at a ceremony Oct. 24.
- Tickets go on sale Monday for Brené Brown's highly anticipated talk Nov. 8. There are limited community, employee and student tickets available, so please plan accordingly.
- The latest certifications bring to 22 the total number of CU Boulder buildings certified LEED Gold or better, either for new construction or major renovations.
- Euclid Avenue, from the west end of the CASE construction site to 18th Street, will be reduced to one-way traffic for about three weeks starting on Monday, Oct. 23.
