- Spring break is over and campus leaders are taking the opportunity to wish students, faculty and staff the very best as the campus community works to successfully complete the spring 2020 semester in good spirits and in spite of challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

- CU Boulder will continue to provide critical services while the statewide stay-at-home order is in effect.
- CU Boulder will invite its spring 2020 graduates to partake in a livestreamed commencement ceremony on May 16. Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano is also inviting the graduates to return to campus in May 2021 for special events in recognition of their years of hard work.
- Campus offices, labs and other units that have unused personal protective equipment and other supplies should contact CU Boulder Emergency Management.
- In light of the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Graduate School is extending the graduation deadlines for doctoral and master’s students planning to have their degrees awarded in May 2020. These extensions will provide extra time needed to schedule defenses, doctoral and master’s final examinations, and to submit theses and dissertations.
- In four races separated by just 15 days, the CU track and field star sent shockwaves with her performances. Now, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has named Jones its national athlete of the year.

- In response to the COVID-19 threat, CU’s Office of Government Relations has temporarily suspended its work supporting visits by CU students, faculty and leadership at the U.S. Capitol, White House and with federal agency partners.
- As liaisons between staff and campus administration, Staff Council members act as conduits for communicating your needs and ideas, as well as advocating for policies that positively impact CU Boulder staff. Vote by March 31.
