The Center for STEM Learning at the University of Colorado Boulder invites you to the 9th Annual Symposium on STEM Education!
Celebrating excellence and commitment to STEM education, student engagement, and learning. This event is a celebration of CU Boulder’s internationally recognized STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education initiatives. This year’s event will have the theme of partnerships and will highlight some of the groundbreaking STEM education projects on campus, introduce a new generation of STEM education scholars, and bring together key CU-Boulder stakeholders. Come and learn about and help shape how we are redefining learning and discovery in a global context, and setting new standards in education, research, scholarship, and creative work, as to transform STEM education.
When/Where: Wednesday, October 4th, 2017; 3:00 – 7:00 PM; University Memorial Center (UMC) in the Glenn Miller Ballroom
3:00 – 5:00 PM CU STEM Education Showcase: Poster Presentations CU Boulder faculty, instructors, and students, as well as community members and K-12 teachers will present posters on their research and course transformation efforts.
5:00 - 7:00PM: Reception, Presentation of Chancellor's Faculty & Graduate Awards, Introduction by Joe Neguse, & Keynote Address by Joe Garcia.
