Continue your education this summer with MAHE

In summer 2023, CU Boulder’s School of Education MA in Higher Education (MAHE) program will offer one 3-credit course and two 1-credit “module” courses. Courses offer flexible asynchronous and remote modalities. Open to any graduate students and other non-degree students (with instructor permission). Take advantage of opportunities to learn about higher education and try out some classes!

EDUC 6705: Leadership in Higher Education

  • Summer Session A (June), 3 credits
  • Instructor: Joe Thomas, associate vice chancellor for student affairs
  • The first class session will meet in person in the C4C Flatirons Room on Monday, June 5 (5-7 p.m). The remaining class sessions will be offered online and asynchronously (designed to be completed at your own pace over Summer Session A).

EDUC 5028: International Education

  • Summer Session A (June), 1 credit module
  • Instructor: Andrew Wingfield, director of international programs, College of Engineering & Applied Science
  • This class will meet remotely on Wednesday evenings, 5-7:30 p.m.

EDUC 5033: Access and Opportunity in Higher Education

  • Summer Session B (July), 1 credit module
  • Instructor: Patricia Gonzalez, assistant dean for justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, College of Arts & Sciences
  • This class will meet remotely on Wednesday evenings, 5-7:30 p.m.
