The Astronaut Scholarship:The Astronaut Scholarship, founded in 1984 by the Mercury 7 astronauts, is open to exceptional rising juniors and seniors pursuing STEM degrees and has an award value of up to $15,000 per academic year. In addition to the monetary value of the scholarship, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation connects current Astronaut Scholars and Astronaut Scholar alum with mentorship and networking opportunities that go far beyond your average scholarship. Many Astronaut Scholars are offered internships and jobs in their disciplines due to the connections made by ASF. Some go on to grad school, and some have even started their own businesses! GEEN 1400 Seeking Course Assistants: As we prepare for the Spring semester, we are actively seeking enthusiastic and eager-to-learn students. This Spring, the Integrated Design Engineering program is committed to maintaining our cohort and training program for Course Assistants, ensuring they feel empowered and supported in fulfilling their roles.

Required Qualifications: 
CU-Boulder engineering student with a minimum GPA of 2.3. To be successful in this position, you must enjoy the design process and be eager to help students design, create, explore, and learn. Applicant must have completed a hands-on projects course such as GEEN 1400, and be familiar with design and fabrication resources.

MAXWELL CubeSat Project Onboarding: MAXWELL is currently seeking students of all years to engage in a fun and challenging CubeSat project! The MAXWELL CubeSat is a 6U CubeSat that is part of the Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences Graduate Projects course. The project engages students from across the College of Engineering in the design, build, test, and operation of spacecraft hardware. Hosted by Smead Aerospace's Mark Sirangelo, this event explores Bruno's distinguished career, the future of ULA, and the pivotal role of U.S. launch operations in today’s space industry. Discover insights into career opportunities within this vital sector. With Bruno's extensive background, the seminar promises a concise exploration of the evolving landscape of rocket technology and strategic developments in the space industry.

The NASA Opportunities for Next-generation Scientists (ICONS) internships offer a 10-week program for undergraduate students to engage in original scientific research with members of the Europa Clipper mission team. The internships can be in-person, virtual, or hybrid, and conclude with a two-day conference. Students receive a $12,000 stipend and may be eligible for additional allowances. The first Europa ICON internship is scheduled for June 3-August 9, 2024. Student applications are due by February 2, 2024, and can be submitted through the NASA STEM Gateway or the provided website: Europa ICONS Internships

The National Space Intern Program, offered by The Aerospace Corporation, is accepting applications during the 2023-24 academic year. Students interested in aerospace internships with participating companies can apply. The application deadline is February 23, 2024, but you're encouraged to apply NOW. Required materials include a resume and transcript, while a cover letter and letters of recommendation are optional. It's an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in the aerospace industry, you can fill out the interest form here and questions can be directed to Shawne.Raiford@aero.org.
