FAQs

How do I become an AGC member?

We invite you to join us during any semester meeting and pay your $10 membership dues, you can find our semester schedule on the calendar tab. Membership dues cover food, trainings and certifications, and access to the AGC professional network. They are required in order to interview with companies that come to AGC meetings.

Please note, membership dues are not required for Fall 2021 meetings as food will not be provided.

Do I have to be a Junior or Senior to participate in AGC?

Any major or academic year can attend AGC meetings. Case in point, it is not uncommon for sophmores to gain internship expierience or for mechanical engineering majors to find roles in Building Informational Modeling (BIM). Frequently, general contractors target AGC student chapters to recruit with many members receiving internship or job interviews from attending companies. Being involved in AGC provides networking that most everyone can take advantage of.

I'd like to present at AGC on behalf of my company...

Please contact agccub@gmail.com with your company name, contact information, and conveinent dates to join us. If you're unavailable to do a traditional meeting on Tuesday at 7 PM, we would still like to work with you to see if we could pursue another opportunity (job site visit, meet and greet, or happy hour). We get booked up very quickly, but are always interested in working with you for future opportunities!

I'm interested in sponsoring your chapter!

Thank you for your support! Please contact agccub@gmail.com with any sponsorship ideas.
