The organizational changes are designed to align Strategic Relations and Communications in support of campus leadership, colleges, schools and programs and to better coordinate with communications and marketing colleagues.
I am excited to build upon the momentum created under Frances Draper’s leadership and look forward to deepening our collaborations and partnerships with campus leadership and communicators as the new academic year approaches.
Buff Portal will replace MyCUInfo as the student portal in October. Before the official launch, content owners across campus will need to update their web pages, online resources and print materials that reference the MyCUInfo student tab.
The Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Colorado) recognized CU Boulder’s Office of Strategic Relations and Communications with six awards on May 2. The PRSA Colorado Awards were established to honor Colorado’s best public relations campaigns and outstanding professionals.
“What would a constituent-centered, comprehensive and collaborative communications journey look like at CU Boulder?” is the central question behind this project, which brings together a wide variety of campus partners.
As we move into the heart of the spring 2019 semester, I am pleased to share that our Strategic Messaging Alliance (SMA) working group has kicked off year two of our collective effort to build a more integrated approach to campuswide communications.
Tabletop exercises during the campus communicators conference and SMA working group meetings in 2018 have enabled us to generate a working set of roles and responsibilities that align with the phases of audience communication engagement and help to enable our collaborations through the SMA working model.
