The SLHS minor provides students with a strong foundation in speech, language, and hearing sciences while building an understanding of how communication shapes human connection, health, and learning. Designed to complement a wide range of majors, the minor is ideal for students interested in healthcare, education, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, or any field that values effective communication.
Credit Requirements
Minimum of 18 SLHS credit hours
At least 9 upper-division credits
No more than 9 transfer credits may be applied (including up to 6 upper-division credits)
