Dr. Joanna Stith has been working with children and adults with hearing loss for over 25 years.  She is a speech-language pathologist and certified Listening and Spoken Language therapist.   Dr. Stith provides therapy to children and their families as well as adults with hearing loss throughout Colorado and Wyoming.  She has a private practice, Listening for Life, and approximately 60% of Dr. Stith’s visits are provided through tele-intervention services (via the internet) to families living at greater distances and in Wyoming. 

Dr Stith is a Listen Referral Therapist and collaborates with the Listen Foundation.  She also provides early intervention services to families and babies who are identified with hearing loss.  Dr. Stith teaches graduate classes as an adjunct professor with the University of Colorado-Boulder and is a facilitator of Love and Logic courses.

Dr. Stith serves as a mentor for individuals seeking to become certified in Listening and Spoken Language.  She provides lectures at various conferences, in-services, and collaboration meetings for teams in the public schools to maximize the development of auditory skills and spoken language.
