Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility

The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) facility at CU Boulder serves the research needs of the entire campus community as well as outside research entities, both public and private, who are not affiliated with the University of Colorado Boulder. This facility maintains a variety of state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers at a variety of magnetic fields to support the wide variety of research needs. The NMR spectrometers available for hands-on use are located in Room 02 in the Cristol Chemistry Building (directly beneath the main Chemistry & Biochemistry Dept. Offices). Currently it houses five NMR spectrometers with unique and complementary NMR spsctroscopy capabilities in Cristol Chemistry and Ekley Buildings.
