Mayu Bickner

This program would provide an environment for me to build up experience in the researching field in a topic that is of interest to me. I am particularly interested in serving underrepresented communities, and hope that by nurturing the intersection of this and stem, I can better find research that benefits and enhances people's lives. As a neuroscience major, I am interested in the way drugs and environments affect the neurodevelopment of the brain, and through this program, it will give me an opportunity to explore and research, as well as publish, which will be beneficial in the long run for careers.
