Kate French

I have a wide range of interests - hence my two majors (mechanical engineering and linguistics) and two minors (global engineering and leadership studies), plus a certificate in cognitive science. I am especially interested in the field of linguistics - particularly the cognitive development and semantic network sides of multilingualism. Additionally, the impacts of folklore or culture on the way we perceive the world through language is fascinating - so, essentially, I am particularly excited about the idea of how our mind and language interact, and how that colors our ways of viewing and interacting with the world.
