Anna Hagberg

This program would kickstart my career in atmospheric and oceanic sciences. It would provide me with an opportunity to engage with the latest discoveries, apply myself with hands-on projects, and learn from renowned scientists. I plan to go into research and the Studio Lab program would allow me to learn what working in this field is like and what the possibilities are. I hope to apply and expand my knowledge and skills to analyze data and improve the algorithms and models we use to predict complex atmospheric processes. I hope to utilize my time here to connect with the broader scientific community and further my own education by applying myself to a specific problem and working through the scientific process in a professional setting. Ultimately, weather and climate events affect communities at all scales. I hope to enhance our understanding of these phenomena to improve the safety and well-being of people all over the world. I am deeply curious, engaged, and driven to learn. I am interested in Applied Math, Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences.
