Boulder County isn't immune to poverty, and on Friday, April 25 Centaurus High School students who participate in the University of Colorado's Public Achievement program will host "A Night in the Streets" to raise awareness about its prevalence. The event, which will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at Festival Plaza, 311 S. Public Road, will feature music, remarks by representatives from local human service providers and an outdoor screening of "The Pursuit of Happyness." The event is designed to generate support for the establishment of a food and supply bank at the high school.
