Prof. Esther Sullivan

Esther Sullivan was an urban sociologist in the Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research focused on poverty, spatial inequality, legal regulation, housing, and the built environment, with a special interest in both forced and voluntary residential mobility. She was a leading expert on manufactured housing and mobile home parks. She was a CU Denver Chancellor’s Urban Engaged Scholar, which recognizes “outstanding contributions to the Denver metro region through community-engaged scholarship.”
