  • “教材词汇总表”包括了本教材中出现的所有生词，包括简体字和繁体字版本，方便师生查阅。

  • 每课的“课文分段阅读”练习中都包括一些基于课文内容并针对不同的阅读策略的练习。在“阅读策略总结”中，我们总结了每课练习中反复涉及到的一些重点的阅读策略；并详细说明了应该在什么时候、如何使用这些阅读策略，以及为什么要使用这些策略。

  • 为了方便师生下载本教材提供的资料，您既可以在每课的页面上单独下载某一个文件，也可以点击右边的标题进入“每课材料打包下载”页面，打包下载每课的全部资源。文件名中的“S”表示简体字版本；“T”表示繁体字版本。

  • 每课我们都提供了一系列报告和作文的题目，在此我们也列出我们自己在教学中编写、使用的作文和报告的评分标准，供老师们参考。

  • 本教材在编写过程中得到了 Du Chinese 团队、That's Mandarin 团队和 GoEast 团队的大力支持。本教材中有24篇文章选自Du  Chinese, 8篇文章选自That's Mandarin, 3篇文章选自GoEast, 这些文章都在Du Chinese平台上发布。其中Du Chinese是一款可以练习阅读和听力的手机应用，基于我们自己在教学中的使用经验，短片详细介绍了这款应用。

  • 本教材每课的生词表都是在 Purple Culture 网站上制作的。短片详细介绍了Purple Culture网站的诸多功能以及优势。

  • “Glossary” includes all new words that appear in this textbook, in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese versions, for easy reference by teachers and students.

  • Each lesson’s “课文分段阅读” (section-by-section reading exercises) includes tasks based on the lesson content and designed around different reading strategies. The “Reading Strategies Summary” section synthesizes key strategies practiced across these exercises and explains when, how, and why to use them.

  • To facilitate downloading course materials, users may either download individual files from each lesson page or access the “Materials in Compressed Files” section to download all resources for each lesson at once.

  • Each lesson provides topics for student presentations and essays. In addition, we include grading rubrics for presentations and essays developed and used in our own teaching for users’ reference.

  • This textbook has received strong support from the Du Chinese, That's Mandarin, and GoEast teams. It includes 24 articles from Du Chinese, 8 from That’s Mandarin, and 3 from GoEast, all published on the Du Chinese platform. Du Chinese is a mobile app for reading and listening practice. Based on our experience using it, a short video in the “Du Chinese” section introduces its features in detail.

  • The vocabulary lists in each lesson of this textbook are created using the Purple Culture website. A short video in the “Purple Culture” section provides a detailed introduction to the platform’s features and advantages.
