VIRTUS is a fully interactive website that uses complex short stories as a basis to either abide by — or in many cases — break the principles surrounding the four cardinal virtues of Catholicism… four words that are tightly bound to our daily decisions — down to the minute level.
Carter Ferryman (he/him/his)
Carter spent his time in CMCI refining his writing skills, as well as finding various creative ways to embed written assets into other mediums — such as sound design, video production, other modes of journalistic creation and more. Carter currently works as an editor and feature writer for both Denver’s 303 Magazine and Chicago’s Burbs Entertainment, and hopes to expand upon both as well as explore other opportunities in media.

VIRTUS is an interactive web of short stories that span countries, decades, themes and structures: all of which abide by, or (in many cases) break the four cardinal virtues of Catholicism — Justice, Fortitude, Temperance and Prudence. Virtus is in no way innately religious… These four words, however, are tightly bound to our action and decisions down to a minute level. These stories exemplify concentrated examples of human interaction at its darkest. They are hypocritical in nature and often contradictory — much like the religious institution that instilled these same virtues many centuries ago
