The Truth portrays the protagonist’s emotional journey as she discovers that her life isn't quite what she believed it to be.
The Truth
In The Truth, we follow the protagonist as she discovers something about her life that she was not meant to know. We are all connected, as small pieces in a bigger puzzle. The main character is awakened to a truth, the truth being that her piece has already been played, and that it will continue to be played despite believing she once had control. It plays on the idea of reincarnation, but without the religious aspect. This type is moreso government controlled. This awakening comes after an accident, where she experiences “memories” of her past life. Finding out this truth puts her in danger, not only mentally, but she receives threats from those in charge- probably hoping to quiet her. The main character however, believes that the truth is too much to bear, and will do what she can to regain her control. It ends with a new character, with suspiciously similar actions, and it is up to the viewer to determine what may have happened to our protagonist.
The Truth, however, can have different meanings to different viewers. Though this description is based off the original idea, it can also depict the theme of “ones fear of loss of control” or other themes that viewers may feel after watching.
