Sleep paralysis can affect anyone and it is something that I have been dealing with for years now. I have never fully understood why it happens other than it could be caused by lack of sleep, stress, sleeping on your back, or other sleeping disorders. What always made me curious about falling into sleep paralysis was the way my body would physically react and the hallucinations that came with it. I would get sleep paralysis often, and then start having these insane dreams while still conscious. It was like there were two of me, I could see myself and feel myself journeying off to random places, yet I knew I was really still lying in bed. The physicality of it all, this experience of being unable to move while your mind is awake is what this film is attempting to capture
