This short film dissects the theme of family and continuity over time. Experiencing divorce as a child can be incredibly impactful and devastating to the trajectory of a child’s life, at least in the time with which it is occurring, altering perceptions of what it means to be a family. More than a decade has passed since the home films ended, but I am still in search of reasoning as to why things don’t always work out in the end.
