Precipice & Keep Searching - Sam Stevens

Nature has always fascinated me. The topic of nature is urgent as climate change continues to be one of the greatest challenges we will face in our time. Yet, we still don’t have a unified respect for the issue and are behind schedule on addressing the issue on a societal and global scale. My intention for this project is to produce a beautiful, immersive nature-themed environment that inspires a state of peace and wonder with the hope that the viewer will walk away with a renewed appreciation for nature. This has long been one of my missions as an artist and will be my first opportunity to create environment art inspired by this mission.
