This video addresses the problem that technology creates in today's generation. Sometimes it is easier to fall into the depths of your screen rather than doing something productive. It is as simple as just putting your phone down.
I have always loved outdoor film and photography from an early age when I started making GoPro edits of family vacations. Coming to school in Colorado from my home state of Rhode Island has been a great opportunity for growing my passion in both film and the outdoors. I have been able to experiment with a lot of new types of media practices while also traveling to so many amazing locations on my weekends.
The Path Less Traveled
This project's goal is to showcase the impact technology can have on everyday life. It can be hard to remove yourself from the stress of the world when your phone is always glued to your hand. Being in Colorado we have access to so much more than what is on a screen through the endless nature in our backyard. I find myself occasionally getting sucked into my phone so this video is just as much a reminder to myself as it is to everyone else to put their devices away and spend more time breathing in the fresh air.
