Jane Novell at her core is an out of the box individual and strives to reflect that in her work. As Colorado based graphic designer, video artist, and event curator, she is drawn to analog media and bold, striking visuals. Her recent projects include an upcoming fashion zine and her senior capstone, local.broadcast.

local.broadcast is an experimental film, which is screened as a looping feed, on a CRT television.  It is inspired by analog horror webseries that build narratives using found footage, layered audio, and nonlinear storytelling methods. Through using predictable media styles of the past while disrupting the what you would expect out them, local.broadcast represents a different world, split from times past.
