The ICA Loop is a theoretical concept turned physical/virtual installation that stands for (I)nformation Overload, (C)yberchondria, and (A)ttention Economy, the three components that feed into each other to create the infinite cycle.
Taylor Passios (she/her)
Fusing experimental techniques with abstract qualities, multimedia artist Taylor Passios has produced an unconventional style in her projects. Born in the bustling city of Manhattan, she was often influenced by the multitude of reflective lights and the restlessness that coincides with it. Now based in Boulder, she continues to utilize digital media in new and innovative ways by combining interactive components into unique spaces.
The ICA Loop
The ICA Loop interactive installation is designed to teach visitors about the relationship between (I)nformation overload, (C)yberchondria, and the (A)ttention economy during the event of the COVID-19 pandemic. Each room is designed to physically represent one of the components listed above. As you pass through, click the QR Codes as well as other icons to experience the installation as you would if it were in person. The QR Codes will lead you to the official ICA Loop website to learn more about the different sections of the exhibit.
