A Case Study On Outdoor Brand Media Marketing - Quillen Kimleigh
My project is a collection of advertisement videos intended for use on social media platforms, primarily Instagram. Accompanying the videos are a series of studio photos and outdoors with models.
My name is Quillen Kimleigh; I am graduating from CU Boulder with a degree in media production in May of 2023. I am passionate about photography and cinematography and have been for as long as I can remember. My interests come from a lifetime of being exposed to world-renowned film festivals in my hometown of Telluride, CO. I am lucky enough to have worked on film and commercial sets during my time away from school during COVID, and those experiences pushed me to pursue my passions in photo/video production.
A Case Study On Outdoor Brand Media Marketing
For my capstone project, I gave an attempt to produce short-form advertisements for three different outdoor brands. The advertisements are intended for social media use and represent what some of these brands would like to post on their social media. I focused on short, highly visual videos that would hopefully captivate a viewer's attention and give them a good idea of what the product is and uses for it in a short time. Along with the videos, I shot product photos in the studio at CU and outdoors in the locations where you could use the products. I wanted to communicate the uses and highlight features of the different products.
