Program Prioritization

The Program Prioritization Initiative is a comprehensive review of all of the University of Colorado’s academic and administrative programs. This initiative, which was launched at the request of the Board of Regents, was designed to expand the university’s understanding of its full breadth of academic and administrative programs and the resources that support them. By gathering data and looking deeply into all of its programs across the system, the university will be better able to make planned and systematic changes that enhance quality and effectiveness.

This initiative gives us the opportunity to build a meaningful foundation for making strategic decisions about core resources in support of our mission. It is intended to be an objective and evidence-based decision-making process that engages stakeholders in the review.
