Improve Your CV: Earn a Professional Development Certificate

Last fall, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) and Graduate School launched the Professional Development Certification program for the following areas: Research & Writing, Professionalism, and Career Exploration & Preparation.

The goal is to help postdocs and graduate students expand core competencies and skills, explore a variety of career options, and develop effective job-seeking strategies. To earn a certificate, you must attend four certification specific workshops during your time at CU Boulder. A list of remaining workshops for this semester is below.

These certificates look great on a CV and can be a point of discussion during a job interview! Certification recipients will be invited to a ceremony on May 2 from 12-1:30pm in UMC 247.

If you have questions about your certification status, please email opa@colorado.edu.
