Support Services

The Support Services Unit provides essential operational, administrative, and logistical support to the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department and plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of public safety services to the campus community. 

Support Services personnel oversee a variety of functions that may include records management, evidence and property control, advocacy, mental health support, public information requests, victim assistance, data reporting, and other administrative responsibilities that support department effectiveness and accountability. 

The unit also assists with crime reporting processes, customer service, communication with community members, and coordination of department resources to ensure timely and professional support for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. 

Records

The Records Section is responsible for processing police reports, accident reports, criminal history information, and records requests in accordance with Colorado law and university policy.
