Eric Edford

Eric Edford is a Commander with the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department. During his law enforcement career he has served in the Patrol, Special Events, and Investigations units of the department. He has been a trainer in numerous law enforcement disciplines, and has received several awards including “Trainer of the Year” in 2017 for the Colorado Information Analysis Center (CIAC).
Commander Edford brought the Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment Program to the University of Colorado Police Department and all other Boulder County law enforcement agencies in 2020. He was awarded special recognition at the Beth Haynes Award Ceremony in 2021 for this achievement.
Commander Edford received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University.
