Two trainings coming to CUPD this spring

We are bringing two report writing training classes to the training center in early March. Both classes are through Advanced Police Concepts and will be taught by Captain Rob Fanelli from the Gainesville (FL) Police Department.

The first class is “Advanced Report Writing” and will be held Wednesday, March 3 - Thursday, March 4. The course is designed to provide officers with the skills necessary to write incident reports and arrest affidavits to make them as polished as possible. 

The second class, held Friday, March 5 is called “Supervisor Report Review.” It is designed to provide supervisors the skills necessary to review and edit reports and arrest affidavits.

Both classes will be held at our training center from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you are interested in attending either of these classes, submit a docusign through your respective chain of command. For more information, contact Sgt. Brown or Sgt. Edford.
