To the CU Boulder Community:

On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at approximately 11 p.m., the CU Boulder Police Department (“CUPD”) was notified of an attempted robbery on the CU Boulder campus. The attempted strong-arm robbery occurred just outside the northeast doors, near the ATM machines, of the University Memorial Center. The victim reported that a man walked up to her and attempted to take her purse. The victim ran away and the suspect fled as well.

The suspect description is limited at this time. He is described as:A map showing that the crime took place on the northeast corner of the University Memorial Center

  • Middle aged male
  • Wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head
