The University of Colorado Police Department is looking for a person of interest in an arson that occurred during the early morning hours of April 13, 2016. The fire occurred at the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building which is located at 3415 Colorado Ave on the University of Colorado – Boulder campus. The fire appears to have started with a plastic sign that was mounted to a wall and the damage was limited to that area. The amount of damage is estimated between $2500-$3000.
The attached photos show an unknown male entering the area of the fire near just before the fire was reported. He left the area and the building a few minutes later.
