5th grade teacher at Gunnison Elementary School. Sarah has been teaching since 2006 as a special education teacher, culturally linguistically diverse teacher and 5th grade teacher. She has taught in the states of California, Nevada, Washington, and Colorado. In her current position, Sarah teaches Math and Science in a departmentalization model with other 5th grade teachers focusing on Literacy and Social Studies. Sarah loves building engaging learning experiences for students to explore science and math in a real world context. Sarah aims to make learning approachable and accessible to all students.
