Gregor MacGregor
- Research Fellow and Acequia Assistance Project Director
- COLORADO LAW

Gregor MacGregor is a water attorney focused on environmental justice and agricultural land preservation. He currently serves as the director of the Acequia Assistance Project, a pro bono legal service organization assisting traditional Hispano farmers in southern Colorado. MacGregor also teaches Colorado Law’s field seminar, taking students and subject matter experts rafting through the Grand Canyon as a floating symposium. He and his daughters opened Vulcan Mine Bakery from their home during quarantine, and his wife serves as chief photographer of the venture.
I want to meet other faculty members interested in community outreach and learn who their partners are in rural areas of the state. My previous work in the Army, work as a water attorney, and work now as a Faculty Fellow have been highly interdisciplinary and team-oriented. I would love to identify possibilities to pair with other faculty members, and connect our students across disciplines, to increase the impact of our outreach efforts. ~ Gregor MacGregor
