Cathy Banoczi

I am in my second year teaching art at Bristol. At Bristol, We have three art shows a year where I have the opportunity to create art projects that demonstrate the science topics each grade is learning. I have taught at private schools, been an intervention teacher in public school and homeschooled my children for 11 years. Teaching in a variety of avenues has widened my perspective on creative ways to teach all subjects. I have studied art through high school and college as well as earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies for Elementary teaching from California State University, Long Beach. Having traveled to Antarctica and working there for 2 years with my husband, I am excited to bring that experience back into what I am doing today. I am so excited to incorporate art and science together to make fun, educational and hands-on learning experiences for youth.
