Adeline Kelly

Adeline is currently a Professional Research Assistant (PRA) in INSTAAR at CU Boulder, where she supports research efforts in the Mountain Limnology Lab, studying lakes and the ways they are changing due to climate change. Prior to her work at CU, Adeline attended the University of Kansas, studying biology and environmental studies. She led multiple projects examining the impact of fire on water quality and taught numerous field labs at the University of Kansas. She is passionate about understanding and preserving our mountain ecosystems, equity in outdoor recreation, and expanding the horizons of what it means to be a scientist. Adeline intends to pursue a PhD at CU and further investigate how wildfire impacts mountain lakes.
