The purpose of IMPART is to further develop a campus environment which supports and encourages diversity and inclusion in approaches to scholarly work and teaching. IMPART Fellowships (up to $4,000) are available to CU Boulder faculty. The committee is interested in receiving proposals that are designed to improve the campus environment in the areas of diversity and inclusion to promote inclusive excellence. In particular, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement (ODECE) would like proposals to support departmental Inclusive Excellence (IE) goals as stated in their IE narratives and plans. ODECE is specifically interested in providing support for faculty members (especially Assistant Professors) who initiate new research and scholarly programs, as well as, expanding undergraduate curriculum in the areas of diversity and inclusion. Student participation in projects is strongly encouraged.
Applications are due Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. (The online application must include a budget, a letter of support from your chair or dean, and supporting documents.) Note: If the letter of support does not arrive before the deadline, the application will be considered incomplete and it will not be considered for funding.
