The ODECE Student Support Fund is currently not accepting new applications due to exhausted funding. We understand the impact that this fund has on many of our students in times of crisis and plan to resume these efforts in the near future as resources to do so become more available. If you or someone you know would like to donate to the Student Support Fund, you can navigate through our Giving page.

In the meantime, here are additional resources available to students:

This fund provides one-time financial assistance in the form of a scholarship to undergraduate students participating in a CU LEAD Alliance or affiliate program. Funds are limited, and not intended to provide ongoing support for recurring expenses. Applications will be reviewed by the ODECE scholarship committee and awarded before the monthly tuition due date. Award amounts will vary, based on a student’s unmet need.

Students must:

  • Must be an active participant in a CU LEAD or affiliate program
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA or CAFSA (ASSET students).
  • Be an enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate student in at least one credit hour during the semester that the request is submitted.
  • Meet the requirements of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Not be on academic suspension, behavioral probation or suspension.
  • Demonstration that a student has exhausted other financial support (accepted subsidized loans and work-study, if offered).
  • Provide a Letter of support from a CU Boulder faculty or staff member

  • The value of the scholarship will vary according to the needs of the student and the availability of funds
  • Students are eligible to receive an ODECE student support scholarship 1x per academic year to support cost of attendance

  • Indicate the amount of your scholarship request and explain how the scholarship will assist you in continuing your studies
  • Attach a letter of support from a CU Boulder faculty or staff member
