The Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement (ODECE) is hosting eight identically-formatted sessions regarding the planning process of the campus Diversity, Inclusion and Academic Excellence Plan. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend these conversational sessions designed to provide updates from ODECE and allow attendees to participate in a dialogue about the Diversity, Inclusion and Academic Excellence Plan and furthering initiatives for making excellence inclusive. As with the spirit of the Academic Futures conversations, the format of these gatherings will be very open to allow time for discussion and Q&A. We will begin with a 10-minute update and the remaining 40 minutes will be available for attendees to engage with us.

ODECE will draw on these conversations, as well as content from the Inclusive Excellence narratives and the Academic Futures white papers and conversations, as we move forward with authoring the Diversity, Inclusion and Academic Excellence Plan, which will be drafted in the coming months beginning in the summer of 2018.
