
Anthony C. Siracusa is the senior director of inclusive culture and initiatives at the University of Colorado Boulder where he contributes to a variety of initiatives and programs that support inclusive excellence among faculty and staff. Anthony grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and was the first in his family to graduate from college.
Anthony has worked at the intersection of community engagement and DEI since 2010, focusing specifically on creating and supporting inclusive programs for students from a variety of backgrounds that enable them to make college affordable, serve their community, and build meaningful connections. Anthony publishes regularly in the field of African American History, and he serves as the book review editor for the Tennessee Historical Quarterly, and his first book, Nonviolence Before King: The Politics of Being and the Black Freedom Struggle, was published by the University of North Carolina Press in 2021.
