Laifang Li

Currently an Assistant Professor at Penn State University (1/2021) ~~~ Brief Bio: Dr. Laifang Li is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution mentored by Drs. Ray Schmitt, Caroline Ummenhofer (WHOI) and Kris Karnauskas. Laifang's recent work focuses on the global water cycle and mechanisms for regional hydroclimate variability, including the use of salinity toward regional rainfall predictability. Laifang received her Ph.D. in Earth and Ocean Science from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University.
