Brief Bio: Gabriela De La Cruz Tello, recipient of a 2015 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship, joins the Oceans and Climate Lab from the San Jose State University Department of Meteorology and Climate Science. Gaby has conducted research on the Hadley Circulation and Oxygen Minimum Zones (OMZs) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), has presented her work at several national conferences including the annual meetings of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and American Geophysical Union (AGU), and is an alum of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Significant Opportunities in Atmospheric Research and Science (SOARS) program.
