On 03-04 MARCH 2017, the University of Colorado NROTC unit hosted the annual Colorado drill meet in Boulder, Colorado. Nine schools from around the country came to Boulder for a weekend of competition in various events. Teams were evaluated on the unit’s discipline, cohesion, and readiness in Platoon Drill, Squad Drill, Color Guard, Rifle/Pistol marksmanship, and the Endurance Race.

Not only was the meet well planned, organized, and executed, but the CU NROTC unit had a great showing in competition as well. CU placed first in Rifle, Squad Drill and the E-Race, second in Pistol and fourth in Color Guard.

The overall 3rd place went to Oklahoma, 2nd place to Kansas, and 1st place to Colorado (pictured below).
