See For Yourself: Virtual Telescopes Online

Check out these as shown during the telescope workshop: Virtual Telescopes are a place where you can see on your computer what you would be seeing through a telescope.

If you don't own a telescope, that's fine. We will provide a few, or you could rent one for yourself. Once you have a new telescope, you can check out this Wikihow site on how to use a telescope.

The Wilkinson Library in Telluride lends out their telescope, to San Miguel residents, that has over 40,000 celestial objects logged for quick viewing. Also, check out the moon phase to see if its light will inhibit you from some of your viewings.
