NSF REU SITE Student Application

Thank you for your interest in the Materials Science and Engineering Program's Research Experience for Undergraduates. Please fill out the survey and short essays below to submit your application. Please submit contact information for 1-3 Academic Faculty who can supply letters of recommendation. A minimum of one reference letter is required, but you may submit up to three. These individuals will be e-mailed automatically once you submit your application and the reference letter will be provided to the program directly.

The application deadline is Feb. 1, 2026, but late applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
