Salomé Carrasco is a first-generation multicultural Colorado native, graduating with a Honors with a Bachelors in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. After graduation, Salomé plans to publish her honors thesis work on barn swallow mass across elevation and latitude as a post-bacc in Dr. Rebecca Safran’s lab. While working as post-bacc she will hone her skills in ornithology then pursue a Ph.D. 

Outside of academia, Salomé enjoys illustrating nature, bird watching, playing D&D, and baking.
