McNair Scholars at the 2023 UROP Sidewalk Symposium
On October 17th, several McNair Scholars presented their research at the annual UROP Sidewalk Symposium. This event is hosted by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program, and gives CU Boulder students a chance to showcase their research and other scholarly activities in a creative outlet. Instead of a traditional poster or oral presentation, students use chalk art to communicate their work.
McNair Scholars Salomé Carrasco, Daniel Alas, and Jaxon Cook, along with their collaborators, presented their work at this event, representing the Departments of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology as well as Psychology and Neuroscience. The latter two were even featured in an article from the Boulder Daily Camera, written by Olivia Doak.
